Kati is the Sanskrit term for the lower back and Vasti in Sanskrit means to hold. Kati Vasti is a warm oil treatment for lower back pain by bathing the lower back and sacrum region in warm healing medicated oils over a period of time to nourish and rejuvenate depleted muscles, nerves, bones and fascia, and provide pain relief. For chronic lower back conditions, a course of treatments is recommended
